By accessing and using AlphaEdit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

AlphaEdit is a free, browser-based file editing and conversion tool. All file processing occurs entirely in your web browser. We do not upload, store, or process your files on any server.

Use of Service

You may use AlphaEdit for personal and commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Scrape, mirror, or redistribute the Service without permission

Intellectual Property

The AlphaEdit name, logo, and website design are proprietary. The tools and code powering AlphaEdit use open-source libraries under their respective licenses. You retain full ownership of any files you edit or create using the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that file conversions will be perfectly accurate.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall AlphaEdit be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Since all file processing occurs locally in your browser, you are responsible for maintaining backups of your original files.

Advertising

AlphaEdit displays advertisements through Google AdSense to support the free Service. Ad content is managed by Google and is subject to Google's advertising policies.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
